Each year we collect new/gently used backpacks plus $25 donations to fill each backpack full of school supplies. We then provide them to homeless/low income children through our partners: Rebele Family Shelter, Homeless Services Center, Sunburst Project, Walnut Avenue Women’s Shelter, Elm Street Mission, Harbor Light Church and Barrios Unidos.
Last year, through the generosity of many companies and individuals, we were able to pack and deliver 703 backpacks among these non-profits to ensure families in crisis throughout Santa Cruz County had school supplies for their children. We hope to collect and provide 750 backpacks in 2015.
How you can help

- OR $25 to fill a backpack full of school supplies
